The RAID 5 writes data on all disks of the volume, as well as a parity block for each data block. In case of failure of a hard disk, the respective data can be rebuilt in a substitute disk. In case of failure of a single drive, data loss does not occur. But, if a second disk is also damaged before the data reconstruction on the unit of the substitute disk, all data on the array will be lost. To create a RAID 5 volume, at least three disks are necessary.
UniRecovery will provide the necessary assistance in the event of damage to one or more hard disks of the RAID. Our technicians will also attempt the recovery of the lost configuration. Whatever the problem, please turn off the machine and do not carry on further action in order not to aggravate the situation and make the data recovery impossible. Through years of experience, our data recovery laboratory has been able to develop a very effective data recovery system from RAID.
